Mitch Shock is having a nice series so far...The Bismarck native is currently making a run at his 2nd final table appearance in the H.O.R.S.E. event. He is currently 2nd in chips with less than 25 players remaining. He is at a table with Vanessa Rousso and Shannon Shorr (chip leader). Good luck Mitch!!

The Fan Poker Show is starting to hit its stride, and can be heard on 740 am on the second Saturday of each month. In June while the WSOP is in full swing, they will have shows on both the 13th and 27th. The show runs from noon to 1:00 and is hosted by poker enthusiasts Steve Madsen and Jack Seaman. They cover a wide variety of topics ranging from everything to free poker leagues to the WSOP to hand analysis to charity and casino poker tournaments around the area. Troy Walseth took down the 5th annual Dead Money Open at the M&J Saloon on Sunday. The tournament had a record turnout of 177 players. 1st place paid $6500. |
